This project for the total refitting of a 50 meter yacht breaks with tradition from the inside out. The new design for My Tzarina is a futuristic take on life on board, more coralline than marine in its visual dialogue with the sea. My Tzarina speaks a nautical language in an entirely different way: site specific furnishings are customed designed to reflect the whiteness, the brightness of the sea and sky, and resemble not so much your dream of a marine voyage as your fantasy of swimming through the inside of a coralline reef through shafts of sunlight on a warm day. There are few hard edges in this organic layout, and myriad cave like areas to explore. Aquamarine-colored surfaces against fluid white lines make being on board a continuum of the sea rather than the domination of it. The design meets every expectation for a high tech, sea-going vessel of this caliber. It is equipped for long haul, ocean voyages as well the ultimate in luxurious amenities for the sophisticated traveler.
